Brides who waste your time and who never return your first follow up contact are something that every wedding businesses is going to be dealing with. However there is more going on than meets the eye. While there are brides who are true time wasters there are more brides that fall in this group who aren’t responding because of one or more tiny mistakes on your end. Drew Stevens has a good point in his article when he says “No matter how good you think you are you might actually be pushing people away from you!”
The most important thing that you can change is ensuring that your message and image is focused on being service oriented. This doesn’t mean just good customer service, it means replying to emails and phone calls as soon as possible. It also means that your wedding business needs to be bride focused, not money focused. A bride is much more likely to follow through with you if you focus on finding out what she wants and needs rather than trying to sell your product or service from the get go.
