It’s easy to create a vision for you business, and then create a business plan to go with it. But there comes a point when everything breaks down. You are in the middle of the plan, things are more confusing than expected, and you suddenly realize that you have choices to make that you weren’t expecting.

If you find yourself in this spot it is usually caused because you are too close to the business in some way and need to take a step back. Take some time to think things through and get a broader perspective. Making a decision just because it is the decision in front of you doesn’t no mean it is the decision that you really need to make right now.

Remind yourself what your business is about, where you are headed, and then take a look at where you are. Will the decision you are about to make help you get to your end goal, or is it a side track? Have you gotten caught up in the details and allowed your business to move in the wrong direction? Your next decision needs to be to move your business forward towards the end goal. Don’t let yourself get sidetracked and confused. Make sure to read the article by Valeria on Conversation Agent to learn more about taking a step back and figuring out what you need to do next with your business. What do you think?
