We’ve all heard it “the economy is struggling.” The problem is that some people take it too far. Even though they might have money, lots of money, they will still try to get you to lower your price. At the same time there are people who are really struggling. So how do you maintain a service minded perspective without losing your shirt?
Dina makes a good point when she reminds business owners that they have set their prices the way they have for a reason on her blog Positively Wed. But she also points out that there are still ways to negotiate with brides by giving them bonuses or other workarounds while still keeping the price the same. You don’t have to cut the price because a bride wants you too, but you can work out your strategy of percents and workarounds ahead of time so that you know when to say no, and when you can safely say yes.
