Have you heard of Stumble Upon? If you’re like me the answer is “yes” but other than hearing about it I had no idea what on earth it was about. Well it looks like that is going to have to change. While Stumble Upon is still quite small in comparison to Facebook ,it has just proven that it drives up to 50% of its traffic to other sites according to Ben Parr’s article.

What does this mean exactly? Well, for businesses it means that if you want referrals that are interested in your product, Stumble Upon is currently the best social media tool for doing exactly that. Basically it gathers sites that people like and recommends them to others who are interested in the same thing. It is like a Google search engine without the search and digging through pages of results trying to find a good business. What do you think? Have you tried Stumble Upon yet?
