At_DeskHave you ever been on a blog where after reading two or three posts you realize that all the posts sound the same, even if they cover different topics? Well this isn’t because of that authors writing style. It’s because they haven’t found a way to draw you as the reader in. While this may be okay on personal blogs it isn’t so great on a blog used for marketing a business.

Lindsey McCaffrey of Absolutely Write writes about the importance of using holidays and other important days in connection to your topic to help you create more interesting blog posts. This is a great way to stir things up, and notoriously these posts are the ones that are going to be shared around to friend lists. While you do need serious, informative articles on your blog you also need posts that reach out and connect to people on a more personal level. What do you think?
