Writers block happens to everyone, even if you’re just trying to write an email. So how do you get those creative juices flowing?
A quick fix is to just jump in the middle and write whatever comes to mind. You can format it later to get everything in order. Second, talk about what you have to write to someone else or even talk outloud to yourself about it (we won’t tell!). If you’re really stuck try taking a break and getting yourself a cut of coffee, or do some other work while listening to music and come back later to finish the project. Stop thinking about the black and white of the page and think about the people it’s for. For more tips about breaking writers block read Katheryn Rivas’s blog post.
