When I came across this blog, I had to giggle.  Because I knew exactly what they were saying!  When I walk into an out-dated kitchen (or bathroom or a living room that has a baby-poop colored couch covered in plastic), I recoil a bit.  I go “Oooh, these people haven’t tried to move with the times at all!”

Which can be okay for some.  But not for a cutting-edge growing business!

The reason I say this is because that recoiling feeling I get when I see the Brady Bunch house still existing somewhere in modern day (which there seems to be a lot as I have found from house-hunting!), I also get when I go to a website that looks like it was designed in 1997 and hasn’t been updated since.

When someone clicks on a link to go to a website, that person has excitement to learn about where they’re being taken to.  They want current information.  They want to be entertained, enticed and impressed.  All of which a great website gives them.

And the more the customer sees what they want, the more they will stay, interact and ultimately give their business.

Go check out this blog.  Seriously.  It gives you six AWESOME tips on how to update your website and make it exciting!

What are some of the things you’d like to see happen with your website?
