Wedding marketing isn’t something you to just to get leads. It’s something you do in order to book brides and make the sale. Obviously great customer connection is a must to end up with happy brides. But there is more to sales than just the marketing. What is it that motivates you to try to land the sale?
Suzanne Paling wrote a great article pointing out that great sales people are motivated by one thing: money. It all comes down to the desire to land the sale, to get the money, to grow the business, and have the money to buy the things you want and need both in your business and in your personal life. If you don’t have that motivation you aren’t going to be able to draw in the sales because the motivation to close the deal isn’t strong enough. You are doing something you love, but if you want to build a business and not just play at a hobby you need to keep yourself motivated on the one thing that gets you where you want to go.
