Wedding businesses with websites and blogs may be interested in adding a twitter account to their site. It used to beBusiness_Man_with_Chart the case that the main reason to have a twitter account was to reach a different audience, and therefore it hasn’t always seemed like the best option for professionals in the wedding industry.

Jonathan Bailey from Plagiarism Today writes that Google just changed all that at the end of 2010. They have decided to use Tweets to rank web sites and blogs via Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). It may not make a huge difference on how you site is ranked at first, but over time your tweets could help move your wedding business page up the ranks in Google’s search engine.

Well they aren’t just there to pull in business from other sites or to let you know about related sites. You are going to want to get inbound links to your wedding business website from any place that you are connected, web sites blogs, associations, groups, you name it. On top of that many web sites also have a directory page that gives a little information about the site they are linking too so make sure you send them a short but compelling listing.

Scheduling Systems To Increase Productivity in 2011

How do you schedule your work life?  Do you use an old school desk calendar?  2010 was the year I went paperless. I actually tossed the day planner and committed to an online schedule.

I must say..Big Improvement! Not only is it one less thing taking up space on my already chaotic desk.  I find myself using it more effectively. Its my home page when I fire up my laptop.  I also share it with my wife (one of the cool features of Google calendar) so she can see what I have going on and plan accordingly.
