Before requesting a reader or customer to perform an act, such as subscribe to your blog or go to your wedding website, think about what it is that draws you to do the same for other businesses.

Why did you click on that last link?  Something enticed you to do it, right?

Marketing copywriting: The power of reasons lays out how powerful it is to give your customer a reason to fulfill your request.  “Subscribe to my blog” versus “Subscribe to our blog to receive up-to-date information and chances to get free goodies!”

Which of those sounds more awesome??
