Kim Fusaro askes the question of whether there is such a thing as too many bridesmaids. Everyone seems to have a different opinion on the subject. However the deciding factor seems to be how large the actual wedding is. Brides will often turn to wedding professionals that are helping with their wedding for help on this subject as they don’t want anyone to be hurt by not asking them to stand up with them. They also have a gut level feeling that there must be a line for where the cut off is before they have too many bridesmaids.
If the bride is expecting 300 guests she can probably get by with having up to seven or so bridesmaids. On the other hand, a wedding that has 75 guests should keep the wedding party down to two bridesmaids for the sake of the sanity of the guests. No matter how close the bride is with her friends, there is no need to have the entire guest list up there standing with the couple.
