Sorry about that! The first time we uploaded them they were missing the email docs. They have since been added.

You can download them at this direct link: http://www.bookmorebrides.com/downloads/autoex/aes-week3-docs.zip

  2. I am up to Week 3 – have the 3 videos but can’y find the Guaranteed Response and Post Meeting email templates. When I downloaded the Docs file it contains the phone scripts (word & pdf) and week 3 part 2 transcripts and worksheets – no part 1 nor the email templates.
    Help please – :sigh:

    • Janice Barham says:

      Megan,

I had the same issue… I just “re-downloaded” the Week 3 Docs and it appears they are there now. :)

  3. Janice Barham says:

Running a bit behind… but I have everything downloaded (or so I thought) so I could work every moment I find I have some free time. I watched Week 3 Part 1 Video a few days ago, and can not find the Guaranteed Response and Post Meeting Walk Through video or documents downloads. Help??

    • Hi, Janice.

All the Week 3 videos and documents are available for download either underneath the video player on this page, or on the downloads page.

Just click the green button “Click Here For Downloads” at the top right of this page and you can download them.

Let us know if you have any trouble. Thanks!

Hi, I’m loving the videos and training tips hopefully it will help me in my wedding planner business in the UK. Just one question I have a facebook business page but it doesn’t give me the option to set a default tab. Should I set up a new page or is there an easier option?
    Thanks again

    •
Just one question I have a facebook business page but it doesn’t give me the option to set a default tab. Should I set up a new page or is there an easier option?
Glad you’re enjoying it, Elaine!

I show you how to set your default tab in the Week 2 Part 4 video. It should work just like this: Click Edit Page, then go to the Manage Permissions tab and change your default page.

However, if you set up your page as a “community” page, it won’t have that option. In that case, you’d have to start a new page to change your default tab.

No need to ditch your current page, just add an extra one and encourage your fans to move over.

  5. You mentioned the inability to add the form to a .com wordpress site – mine is my own domain ending with ‘.com.au’ – will this be the same as the process for wordpress ‘.org’ sites?

I am a bit behind, but am putting together a new website as I do this -so pretty intense right now & right int he midst of our spring wedding season ….

    •
You mentioned the inability to add the form to a .com wordpress site – mine is my own domain ending with ‘.com.au’ – will this be the same as the process for wordpress ‘.org’ sites?
You should be able to add the form to your WordPress site without any issues.

The easy way to tell whether you can or not: if your blog has “wordpress.com” in the url, it won’t let you add your form. Anything else is WordPress.org and you have full reign.

My husband is one. I have been working on it from a “Wedding Planner/DJ” perspective so far, and figured I would give 100% to that… then work on our other services once I have the main focus down pat. Glad to see another officiant though! :-)

I do have one marketing tip I would share on a private email, if you would like it? A little bribe back to You and Jeff. ;)

We LOVE this idea! Jeff’s been wanting to do this for months.

We’ve got a vibrant enough community that we’re bumping this up on our To Do list. It’s a bit of a project, so I don’t have an ETA.

In the meantime, we’re going to see what we can do to improve member communication in here.

      Thanks for the suggestion!

Still working on week 2 a little behind, hope to get caught up this weekend. I just ran across another email marketing system…have you heard anything about Fire Drum? Does it fit what we need to have. Thanks any input you have would be great!

    K

    •
have you heard anything about Fire Drum? Does it fit what we need to have.
This is the first I’ve heard of Fire Drum. I took a quick look at the website and it looks like they’re geared toward providing full internet marketing services (website design, SEO, newsletter design) rather than just email.

I’m sure their email marketing service offers the features you need.

However, I couldn’t find any reviews of Fire Drum online. I’d also tend have some healthy skepticism about the “all in one” internet marketing solutions; it’s really difficult to be good at everything.

I’d recommend going with one of the more established email marketing services with lots of reviews and a good reputation.

If you decide to test it out, be sure to let us know what you think!

I noticed that you space your automatic emails at an interval of every 4 days, do you find this patten most helpful as opposed to sooner or later time frames

    thanks

    •
I noticed that you space your automatic emails at an interval of every 4 days, do you find this patten most helpful as opposed to sooner or later time frames?
Generally, 2-3 emails per week is a good frequency for most markets.

Send emails too often and people will unsubscribe; send too infrequently and they forget about you.

Since these emails are written to tell the bride right up front how often they’ll be getting emails, it’s worked quite well.

However, when in doubt…test it out!

You can always run a 4 day frequency and track your results, then run a 3 day frequency and see if there is a difference. Eventually, you’ll find the optimum frequency for your particular market.

I’m looking over the “37 Ways” bride bribe and customizing it for my couples. Do we have the rights to the worksheet it links to as well? Honestly, I’m pretty underwhelmed by the worksheet and will probably need to rewrite the whole thing, but I’d like to know that I’m doing it with permission of the original author(s).

    Thanks!

We did put them in the Week 2 Part 2 worksheet. Sorry if they were hard to find!

If you are using Aweber to send your follow up emails, you can
load the Automatic Expert follow up emails into your account instantly!
      Here’s how…

      1. Login to Aweber.

      2. Go to Messages > Follow Ups and scroll down to the Campaign
      Sharing section.

      3. Enter in campaign code for the emails you want and click “Load Campaign.”

Are you going to put up the transcripts for Week 2 and following weeks? Not that I don’t appreciate the videos, but I am a MUCH faster reader and just can’t sit there and watch a video. I also absorb more via reading…so, transcripts?

    • AES Comment says:

Okay, found transcript after clicking into video…wasn’t in section where you click on green button for downloads.

    •
Are you going to put up the transcripts for Week 2 and following weeks?
I completely agree! I find videos much too slow, despite the fact that most people prefer them.

The Week 2 transcripts aren’t on the downloads page yet, but will be added along with the remaining Week 2 videos.

The transcript also appears beneath its video (as you discovered.)
I currently have Constant Contact will this work with the automatic system crm?
Yes! You’ll set it up just like you would if you were using the combination of Aweber and eWebmin.

You can set up the system with ANY tools; we’re just demonstrating with recommended ones.

Constant Contact was less flexible with the email lead capture forms, at least last time I checked, so you might want to explore another option in case you’d like to switch.

Regarding google analytics, I thought it might be helpful for others to know that you can paste the html code into the body of your pages and it still works. • Hi, Polly!

The system IS the series of trainings along with the emails and templates.

You can watch the videos here on this page. You can also download the videos along with the emails and support documents by clicking the green “Click Here For Downloads” button at the top right of this page.

If you look beneath the video player on that page, you will find the download links for everything there.

Please let me know if you have any trouble. Thanks1

Thanks for the great information so far – I was a bit concerned that it would be too ‘American’ for my (mostly) laid-back Aussie clients – but with everything customizable (thanks for your generosity in allowing this) I can edit to suit my potential clients.

You need to paste your Google Analytics code immediately before the closing tag on each page you want to track.

Did you use iMac to create your web page? If so, you can easily add your code using this Automator software: http://echoone.com/

It can be a little time consuming to paste your code into each web page manually. Most templates and blog platforms have a way to add your Analytics code to every page automatically when you modify a single file. You’ll have to look into the specifics of whatever you’re using.

    Hi Stephanie and Jeff,
It’s interesting, but so far, I’m already doing everything you said. I tell clients all the time “I’m a terrible salesperson” because I only want to please and don’t put any pressure on my clients to spend more. I also encourage them to give reviews all over the net. I get new clients saying “I looked and couldn’t find anything less than a 5 rating”. Made me want to cry (lol).

    On to video 2. Thanks.

When I click on Downloads or the other video buttons the page crashes. I get a recovery message saying the page closed because of problems with the web page.

    • The best thing to do is try another browser. If you’re on Internet Explorer, it has a lot of trouble with some video players.

Try accessing the videos on Firefox or Chrome.

The other thing to do is download the videos onto your computer and play them there.

Please let me know if you continue to have trouble with this.

Thanks and sorry for the frustration!

    Hi,

Just wanted to say loving it all so far. I am desperate to get moving on all the info, but must do some work first!

    Just a quick question?
I would love to learn more about after the big day, how to stay in touch with customers regularly get repeat business and get referrals & more, do we learn this at all? If not can you add to your next system xxx

    Love Jenni

    • Jenny,

      Excellent question!

Yes, we’ll cover some advanced strategies for automatically following up for repeat business and referrals in Week 4.

I love that you’re thinking ahead. The possibilities of what you can do when you automate your follow up are nearly endless!

Quicknote to ppl with audio problems:
I do have pretty good set of codecs in Windows 7 + mediaplayer and I do have audio problem with bride2bride-survey-video. But it can be remedied with standalone player “VLC media player”. ( http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ )

Thank you so much for putting up this great source of information. I’ve browsed through your already available information and I’m already really happy I’ve made the investment. Surely your double back guarantee helped the decision making a lot, might I say it was a “no-brainer”.

I was on the urge to change my way of making leads to bookings and as checked your proven system I was already on the right path. And now I’m really happy camper to have you guide me through the rest of transformation of my lead-2-booking-system.

Your bride bribes are just the likes I think brides in Finland would also want to have, so they are perfect fit for me after the translation work.

Can’t wait the next week videos and would very much like straight away to get the automatic Mailchimp/ other system running. :)

  30. Stephanie Padovani says:

    Hi, Skip!

It turns out that the videos are encoded in a way that does not provide audio on some video players. If you have an option, use Windows Media Player or another player.

If that doesn’t work, download the flv versions here:

    https://s3.amazonaws.com/6figurewedbizvideos/bonus2-bride2bride-survey.flv

    https://s3.amazonaws.com/6figurewedbizvideos/day1-overwhelming-value.flv

Please let me know if you still have trouble with it. Otherwise it will take us a couple days to re-encode them.

    Thanks!

      Hi, Bill!

The videos do have audio, but they don’t have audio in some video players if they aren’t encoded properly.

We won’t be able to trouble shoot every video player scenario, but your best bet is to try a different player. Windows Media Player works on our computers.

As for Facebook, we’re going to dig into some REALLY good strategies in the Facebook Bonus with our friend Brian McGovern. The release has been delayed because he moved to upstate NY, got evacuated due to Hurricane Irene, and won’t have internet for a few more days.

We’ll have that for you by next week.

      More soon!
